TRENDYBLACKGUYS: The Clipse x ABC News x KAWS x MySpace Music

WOWEEEEE, The Clipse are freaking nice! I would say the other F word, but I like to keep it as clean as possible because you never know who’s reading, lol. But for real, I always post about The Clipse because I love their music, style, ambition, loyalty to one another, and most of all WHAT THEY RAP ABOUT! Now… I’m not saying dealing drugs is cool, but it sure is interesting to listen to someone’s craftily designed take on it, no?

Well, whether you agree or not is irrelevant, lol, but what you cant disagree on is the hype surrounding this album, ‘Till the Casket Drops,’ that, no pun intended, just dropped some days ago (side note, GO BUY/DOWNLOAD VIA ITUNES THAT ALBUM NOW BECAUSE I LOVE IT). They worked with the best, and I mean the BEST: Kanye, Pharrell, and most of all CAM’RON! Lets not get into how much of a Cam fan I am… that’s for another post.

The Clipse got a mention on ABC News (of all places, right?):

And they were blessed with an album cover designed by KAWS. If you dont know who KAWS is, he is a great artist that has worked with the best in the fashion and other industries. If you can recall any Original Fake or BAPE items, you might remember the KAWS insignia—the X X:

Anyway, The Clipse are doing it right now and I think this is THE album that will sky rocket them into the mainstream money. If you’re broke and don’t want to purchase anything, then you can STREAM THE ALBUM FOR FREE VIA MYSPACE MUSIC.
