WILTRN = What I’m Listening to Right Now
Cudi and Dot Da Genius team up for Teleport 2 me:
So Kid Cudi teams up with his (and my) favorite Nigerian, Dot Da Genius, to bring us this awesome track off the upcoming album, WZRD, entitled, “Teleport 2 Me”. By the way, the title of this post includes the acronym WILTRN, which means “What I’m Listening To Right Now.” Anyway, this track is amazing. If you know anything about my taste in music then you’ll know that I enjoy music and artists that know how to really set a mood. The ability to paint a vivid picture (as Drake would say) and set an awesome mood is a quality that not every song or artist has, but Kid Cudi is VERY different. Cudi has been making such awesomely trippy music since “A Kid Named Cudi,” no? Whatever. Teleport 2 Me has been on repeat for me for the past week or so, and it will probably continue to be in heavy rotation. Teleport 2 Me is definitely the type of song you just sit back and enjoy–possibly inebriated, too, lol.
