What a fitting time for me to blog about this defibrillator toaster by Shay Carmon & Studio VE. Why is it a great time, you ask? Well, we happen to be studying the heart right now at my medical school! Anyway, this concept toaster is just really cool to me, and it’s supposed to help “revive your old bread.” Get the joke? If not, maybe you should read a quick Wiki about what a defibrillator actually is.

I’m officially AED certified, so I’m sure operating one of these defibrillator toasters would be a piece of cake–or should I say “a piece of toast”? Okay that was kind of corny but, whatever, I think this thing is dope! There’s no price on this toaster since it’s just a concept, so, I’m not sure if the defibrillator toaster is actually for sale on Amazon, eBay, or anything like that.

STUDIOSMITH (a Washington, DC, based architectural studio) recently renovated this townhouse on 6th Street in Washington, DC. Initially the space looked pretty beat and super small, but STUDIOSMITH put their all into it and the outcome was amazing. According to them:

“Removing interior partitions, adding walls of glass and minimizing the amount of distracting trim work in the new design opened up the space and directed the line of sight through the space to the outside gardens. This allowed for the space, while small in square feet, to visually feel much larger.”

I’m no interior designer, but that sounds like good news to me! I love what they did with the color scheme, bricks, appliances, furniture, etc. The 6th Street Townhouse looks nothing like the crap it used to look like, haha. What a cool & relaxed outfit that Chris Brown wore while shopping at SURU LA! Breton shirts are always in style, as are denim jackets. The khaki carrot pants are awesome, too, and–in fact–I just bought myself a pair of khaki carrot pants 2 months ago and I love them! What really stands out to me, though, is the brooch. Do you see that thing? It’s pretty fvcking dope! I’m not sure who the creator of the monkey brooch is, but the X’s on the eyes are reminiscent of something KAWS-esque. But, alas, I really have no idea. Pretty cool outfit nonetheless, and I can definitely relate to the style while also being inspired.

Oh, wait, yeah, Chris Brown also recently purchased a $1.8 million mansion in Hollywood Hills. Apparently it was near a home that Rihanna has up for sale. He’s definitely living the life for his age! Check this thing out:

Wow, talk about sexy, huh? The Brabus-tuned Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Roadster is pretty much synonymous with the idea of sexiness. Look at this thing! Remember the Brabus Mercedes Benz GLK V12? Well, Brabus did it again!

The German tuning specialist has developed the Brabus B63 S, an upgrade kit for the 6.3-liter AMG V8 power plant. It includes an ECU flash and high-performance titanium exhaust system, which work together to bring output on the Mercedes supercar from 563 horsepower to 600 hp. The exhaust system is 40 percent lighter than the production part and features an integrated butterfly valve for sound-management purposes.

Brabus also installs its Ride Control smooth-ride suspension that was developed in collaboration with Bilstein. It can lower the ride height up to 1.6 inches and drivers can control the damper settings at the push of a button. For convenience in navigating driveways and speed bumps, Brabus offers its Front Lift System that raises the front end of the car by 2.0 inches.

I honestly believe that a truly amazing car only needs 4 shots to look good (front, back, side, & interior), and this Brabus SLS AMG Roadster is no different:

Okay, okay, okay, so I missed this deal, but I mean–come on–I don’t even have enough money to really pay rent, lol. If I did have $1295 to blow, though, I would definitely have purchased this Audi Sports Car Experience deal by Gilt City Boston. Why? Because you get to drive a 2012 Audi R8 from 9:30 AM – 5 PM. Okay, maybe it isn’t worth $1295, but YOU GET TO DRIVE AN AUDI R8 FOR 8 HOURS! THAT’S LIKE A WHOLE WORK DAY! If you think I’m too excited about that then maybe you haven’t seen an Audi R8:

Okay, that probably wont happen but a young man can have delusions of grandeur influenced by Norse mythology, can’t he?

Bercy Chen Studios designed this beautiful home in Texas Hill Country. Having spent all last year in Texas (Houston to be exact), I know a thing or two about the South now. What I’ve mainly learned is that it isn’t all backwards like us Northeastern’ers are led to believe–it’s actually quite nice. Well, some parts at least. Anyway, this house is BEAUTIFUL. I don’t even know if beautiful is enough of a word to describe this home. There are some really awesome things that Bercy Chen Studio did, and I’ll try to discuss a few:

I like big beds, especially unique big beds. Metrofarm designed a really cool bed that’s enclosed on 2-3 sides, is made of Walnut Veneer wood, and can double-up as a shelf, too. What more could you ask for in a bed? This is definitely something that I would love to have in my home in the future. I take a sh*tload of naps, so why not, haaah? I’m sure you all know that marijuana is medicinally legal in Denver, so of course you’d be able to find other awesome things–such as this house–in the state of Colorado.
