How dope is this Gucci iPad 2 sleeve? If you know me at all then you’ll know that I have a soft spot for anything with the classic Gucci monogram print, and this sleeve is no different. The Apple accessory business is booming (believe me, I know), and there are accessories with price ranges that are equal to (or even more than) the price of the Apple device itself! Is this sleeve worth it? Probably not. But if you do have the money to blow then this Gucci rubberized leather iPad 2 sleeve is a fvcking amazing choice. It’s even lined with suede. SUEDE! If you can, treat your iPad to something nice–it deserves it.

The sleeve is priced at $305 … that’s only like half the price of an ipad. NBD.

Is that really beer in there?

Browsing Format Magazine, I came across this weird USB drive. It’s a promotional USB drive by Budweiser and it’s supposed to be filled with beer. If there really is beer in there then I guess it could come in handy during emergencies. You know those emergencies where you need like 1/20th of a cup of warm beer?? Yeah. Those ones.

Aside from the supposed beer inside the Budweiser USB drive, this drive isn’t anything special at all. Given that you can buy USB drives with, like, 1 TB now, this measly 4GB USB drives is almost worthless. This case is nothing short of amazing. How do I know? Because I have 6 of them!!! The Vans Waffle Case for the iPhone 4 & 4S is really a durable case, so the hype behind it is well deserved. I’d say that this case is pretty iconic because it turns your phone into shoe! Okay, maybe it doesn’t really turn your phone into a shoe but it’s close enough, right?

These are sold out everywhere and actually sold out in minutes once they released on the Vans store. The case actually looks and feels just like the outer and bottom sole of a pair of Vans shoes.

I wasn’t really cognizant to enjoy the era when Polaroid cameras ruled and no one even had any idea of what a digital camera even was! It’s my lucky day, though, because Polaroid has done something special in creating the Z340 Instant Digital Camera. That’s right, “instant”! So what exactly does this mean? Now, though, I finally got my hands on Office for Mac 2011. Late, yeah, I know, but whatever. I also upgraded my Macbook to a pro, so now I have OS X 10.6 (I know I could have put it on my older Macbook, but I didn’t feel like it *shrug*). I read here that Mac Mail on OS X 10.6 was pretty good, but I haven’t tried it. Instead, I’ve been using Outlook, which comes with Office for Mac 2011. I’m very familiar with Outlook from Windows and I’ve always loved it. Now it’s actually stable and working for Macs. Thanks, Microsoft! Oh, yeah, the other software in Office for Mac 2011 is superb as well; it’s your typical Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Point of this story? Go get yourself Office for Mac 2011 and solve your e-mail client problems.

Best Buy wasn’t kidding in their commercial when they said that technology moves fast. Remember that iPad you just bought? Yeah? Well, that thing was obsolete the moment you bought it–that’s just how technology works, lol. Now the iPad2 has hit the shelves and people are wondering why they even purchased its predecessor. No worries, though, because Best Buy is taking strides make the race between technological advancements and consumers’ purchasing habits a more fair one.

So, How Does The “Buy Back” Program Work?

I guess it’s okay, right? I mean what they’re basically saying is that the minute you make a purchase, the item’s value depreciates by half. Wait a second, that doesn’t sound right! In fact, if I wanted to upgrade to an iPad2 after just recently buying an iPad (let’s say I owned the iPad for 4 months), I would NEVER take it to Best Buy to ONLY get half of its value. Although I hate eBay’s money grubbing ways (eBay fees, PayPal fees, etc.), I would have to first consider selling my item on eBay or Craigslist before taking a huge loss by going to Best Buy.

To the not-so-savvy consumer, maybe Best Buy’s “Buy Back” program seems ideal, but–if you really think about it–Best Buy would never implement a program that wasn’t somehow in their favor. It’s like how the house will ALWAYS win in Vegas. *Shrug* maybe that’s just my inner pessimist speaking, or maybe it’s my inner intellect!

Guess who answered my prayers? Connect Design did! There must be others that can appreciate a good extension cord but wished it had the functionality of a surge protector because this is exactly what Multi Lines is. Although these are a bit tacky, in my opinion, you can still pull them of depending on what type of space you’re using them in.

Looking at the specs, I can safely say that this is your basic functioning power cord. It’s made out of ABS plastic, copper wiring, and phenol (which is great for electron transfer). The diagram did give me a brief flashback to college physics. I was never a fan of dealing with capacitors, resistors, ohms, etc. In fact, I HATED physics.
