My love for architectural beauty has no boundaries! This time, we’re checking out a nicely designed home in Galicia, Spain. A-cero Architects designed this literally awesome building. It’s hard to say that pictures capture its true beauty… I mean, I wouldn’t know because I haven’t seen it in person, but I’m sure that these pictures are a huge understatement.
Anyway, there are A LOT of things that are unique about this home, which is why it caught my eye at first glance. First of all, the exterior of the house looks like a modern day labyrinth–a stone temple of some sort with booby-traps everywhere. I love this because it makes being at home seem like some adventurous experience.
Another thing I particularly like is the architect’s understanding of the value of a good view. Given this understanding, they placed the bathtub in the master bedroom right in front of a window with a beautiful view:
And one of my favorites, the dinning area, is in a section surrounded by floor to ceiling windows. Amazing:
