Today, we’re traveling (make pretend, lol) to Lexington, Massachusetts to check out this beautiful house designed by SsD Architects. This is probably one of the flyest houses that I’ve seen posted.

Besides its interestingly captivating, asymmetrical design, the house boasts a structural system that is “comprised of steel and concrete discarded from Boston’s Big Dig; utilizing over 600,000 lbs of salvaged materials from elevated portions of the dismantled I-93 highway.” Now that’s freaking interesting!

This is exactly the type of thing we need to do with recycled materials—no better way to make use of old steel and concrete than to build a luxurious house, right? Yesss.

I really love TWO things about the house’s design, though:

1. The interior would make you feel as if you were in a high-class, contemporary/modern warehouse

2. The design and placement of staircases in the house are weird yet PERFECT.
