It’s no secret that I’m a big Kid Cudi fan, and I think it’s crazy that I haven’t found a song of his that I really don’t like. Recently, I’ve been playing David Guetta‘s song, ‘Memories,’ feat. Cudi like EVERY morning, lol. It gets me amped for the mundane activities of the day to come…

Aside from satiating my need to feel ready for the day, the song itself really serves the purpose of dance club music. I think Kid Cudi is extremely smart in the way he promotes himself because most rapper don’t, and probably can’t, hop on a techno track like he can. This is what separates him from many popular rappers, which makes Kid Cudi the true definition of ALTERNATIVE rap. If you’re looking for a good cross-genre artist then you’ve found one of the best.

I’ve also been listening to Dan Black x Cudi’s ‘Symphonies’ remix, which has such an artistically daring video, in my opinion… hmm, maybe I should post that, too? YEAH, I THINK I WILL.

*side notes*
1.) I’m not feeling that whole outfit David Guetta is wearing from bubble vest to jeans, wth?
2.) I can’t wait for this ‘Cudder’ album to drop… Cudi sounded extremely excited about it on his blog, using words like ‘magnificent.’ You can CHECK OUT THAT POST HERE.
